St. Mary Magdalene Knights of Columbus Council 4498, has received the distinction of Star Council, the international organization’s top award for local councils.
The Star Council Award recognizes overall excellence in the areas of membership, promotion of fraternal insurance benefits, sponsorship of faith formation programs, and service-oriented activities. These are the Programs that Council 4498 completed this year: Rosary Program, RSVP Program, the Christmas Birth Program, Annual Mass Assistance Program, Keep Christ in Christmas Program, Annual Family Christmas Party Program, Family Decorating the Parish for Christmas Program, Trunk or Treat Program, Coats for Kids Program, Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest Program, Savers Clothing Drive Donation for families in need Program, Socks for Babies and Mothers in need Program, Pregnancy Center Support Program, Parishioners with Epilepsy Program, Feed the Hungry -Fill the Cruiser with Food Program.
